Keywords suggestions list

Generated keyword suggestions list

According to the keyword method, you choose & filters applied.

Then you will get the list of generated keywords.

Every keyword will show monthly searches, CPC, PPC & average keyword difficulty.

It is displayed in a table view, and you have option sort by ascending and descending for each data value.

You can click on each row to see advanced SERP analysis for it on the right screen.

TIP: When the average keyword difficulty is sorted to ascending, it will show the lowest difficult keywords at the top.

Exact match domain availability for keywords

Show the available exact match domains for keyword

It will show whether an exact match domain is available for your keyword.

E.g., if the keyword is “best keyword research app,” then it will show whether bestkeywordresearchapp.com or .net or .co or .org or .info or .io is available.

It is not a huge SEO factor since Google has updated its algorithms.

Why exact match domain name matter?

  • It’s still a ranking factor for other search engines.
  • Gives an additional boost for very low competition niches
  • Gives an additional boost for foreign markets or foreign keywords
  • Sometimes it can be a perfect domain name.

E.g., I searched for a good domain name for my Tamil digital marketing blog, and I found a great keyword, “blog in Tamil,” so I check the exact match, and it was available.

So I grabbed it because it was something easy to remember, had respectable monthly searches, and an exact match for one of the main topics I will cover.

Average keyword difficulty

Shows the average keyword difficulty

To make our keyword research easy, they provide an average SEO difficulty score based on search competitors.

The score will range from 0-100.

The higher the score is, the higher the SEO competition for that keyword is.

TIP: It’s a quick metric that is good for a quick analysis, but I encourage you to do more advanced analysis by looking through SERP data shown below to this metric.

Search trend data

The standard keyword search volume shows you the average, but this chart will show you the exact searches for each month in a year.

GetKeywords.io enables to view trend chart up to 4 Years.

Why it’s useful?

It enables you to identify whether your target market or keyword’s interest is declining or increasing.

You can identify seasonal keywords that will only be popular during a specific time period in a year. E.g., Black Friday sale or Christmas shopping, etc.

What makes GetKeywords’s Search trend data better?

They took the standard search trend data’s benefit one step further.

They not only show the searches for each month on a given year but up to 4 years.

They also show the click-through rate for those searches.

So you can know out how many of those searches how many searchers are clicking on a SERP web listing.

E.g., If a keyword has a search volume of 500 and it shows the click-through rate as 50%, you are only fighting for the remaining 250 searches a month.

It also shows the bounce rate as a percentage, so you get a straightforward idea of what percentage of the searchers will click through.

Why do searches have a low click-through rate?

The search intent for a portion of searchers doesn’t have to click a website and go through it to find what they wanted.

Examples where searches don’t need to go to web listing:

Shows the full search trend data with clickthrough rate
  • Google search snippet or knowledge panel has provided the answer.
  • Google’s “People also ask,” snippet has taken them to a different page.
  • A meta description has provided the user’s answer.
  • Might be doing a spelling check.
  • or testing the Internet connection or browser.

Google search results count

Total search index for that keyword in Google

Shows the total index of Google for that search query.

Most of the time, I use this metric to get a basic overview of market size.

Organic clicks percentage

Shows the organic clicks for searched keyword in search engines

This metric shows the calculated estimated percentage of searchers who will click organic results.

This percentage is calculated by the number of Ads displayed for the searched query.

Usually, when there is alot of Ads, the organic click percentage will reduce.

It is because the shown ads would reduce the visibility & click-through rate for organic listing.

TIP: If you plan on selecting keywords for SEO, it’s good to focus on keywords with a higher organic click-through percentage.

Shows search first page’s advanced elements

Shows all the advanced snippets on Google

This metric shows other advanced search features that are available on the first page.

Some of the advanced search listings include:

  • Search Snippets
  • People Also Ask
  • Top Stories
  • YouTube Videos
  • Top Ads

In-depth competitor analysis

It shows an in-depth analysis of each of the web listing on an organic listing.

What are the competitor metrics available in the app

Competitor analysis for selected keywords
  1. # – Position
  2. URL – The hyperlink of the website which is ranking
  3. Keywords – Total numbers the website is ranking
  4. Traffic – Total traffic the website receives
  5. Backlinks – Shows the total backlinks of the website
  6. FB – Shows the FB shares count
  7. inTitle – Shows whether an exact keyword is used in the title of the webpage

Get competitor analysis beyond top 10 results

You can see competitor analysis for more than 10 results

It is an excellent feature that I love.

Most of the keywords I used only show the stats for top and don’t give us the option to analyze more.

But in GetKeywords, you can click the “Load more” button to display the 2nd page or beyond SERP listings.

Generally, you only need to concentrate on the top 10 listings, but it’s always good to know that we can go beyond the top 10 results if we want.

  • Doesn’t show PA, DA, & trust score for webpages
  • It does not show advanced backlink data (actual links) but only shows the total backlink count
  • No rank tracking module
  • No documentation ( But my video & review explain everything )

Conclusion

GetKeywords has some great metrics and functions which allow us to do effective keyword research.

Some of my personal favorites include click-through data, realtime data, multiple sources, advanced metrics & see stats beyond the first 10 results.

However, if you are a person who wants to see PA, DA & trust scores, you will be disappointed because they don’t focus on that type of metrics but ROI features like total ranking, traffic received & social shares.

GetKeywords also focus only on gathering & presenting accurate keyword data, and so it doesn’t focus on other SEO functions like on-page SEO & keyword rank tracking.

It is a real contender for the title of most accurate keyword research software and built focused on market audience analysis.
