Privacy policy

What is collected

• Analytics. The site does not currently run any analytics or visitor tracking scripts.
• Server logs. Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the site, processes requests (such as IP address) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
• Tool suggestions. If you use the suggestion form, the details you enter (name, website, category, your explanation and your email address) are sent to the site owner so the suggestion can be assessed and you can be contacted about it. Your email address is never shown on the site. The form is protected by a hidden anti-spam field and a simple rate limit, which uses your IP address only to count recent suggestions and is not stored with your suggestion.
• Email. If you email the address on the contact page, the message and your address are used only to reply.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links and are labelled "Affiliate" where they appear (see the affiliate disclosure). This site does not track clicks on them and does not receive any personal data about you from them. When you follow one, the destination website or its affiliate network may set its own cookies and record that the click came from this site. Their privacy policies apply from that point.

What is not collected

The site does not show ads, does not sell personal data and does not use marketing cookies. Embedded videos load only after you click them, so no third-party request is made before then.

Your choices

You can ask what data is held about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, via the contact page. This includes a suggestion you made.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, this page will be updated.
